Provide a secure entrance for your customer's property with our range of sturdy garden gates. Choose from 1000mm (3') high wicket gates for front gardens to full-height 1829mm (6') framed, ledged & braced gates for side entrances and rear gardens. We stock both square top and arched top finishes to perfectly complement the space you're working in and finish your project to your customer's preferences. These gates are also designed to match perfectly with our fencing range.

All our gates are manufactured from high-quality, FSC® or PEFC™-certified timber and are pressure-treated to ensure long-term durability against the elements. Whether you need a closeboard gate or a decorative screening gate, we stock the trade-quality products you need for a professional finish.

Why choose our garden gates for your landscaping project?

A high-quality gate can help transform an outdoor space on both a practical and aesthetic level. If you need to complete a fencing project, our range of gates are robust and ready to slot right into your customer's garden fencing.

  • Superior construction: Our wooden garden gates are available in ledged and braced or framed, ledged and braced designs, providing extra support and structural integrity.
  • Weather resistance: Pressure-treated timber helps to protect against the elements and requires less maintenance for long-lasting durability.
  • Versatile styles: We have styles to suit any boundary, from the traditional aesthetic of a wicket gate to the privacy provided by a square top closeboard gate.
  • Standard Trade sizes: We stock standard-size gates to fit typical gate openings and fence runs.
  • Security and privacy: Our full-height gates provide a robust barrier for side passages, keeping your customers' gardens and homes secure.

What garden gates do we have available?

Choose from a selection of suitable gates for your next project:

  • Closeboard: Available in square top and arched top, these heavy-duty gates provide total privacy and match perfectly with closeboard or lap fence panels.
  • Ledged and braced: A trade favourite for side entrances thanks to the security and practicality they provide.
  • Framed, ledged and braced: For maximum strength, these gates feature a full outer frame for added stability.
  • Wicket: These traditional garden gates are perfect for lower boundaries and paths.
  • Screening: For a contemporary look, screening gates offer privacy while allowing light and airflow through the timber.

FAQs

While our gates are pressure-treated, we recommend applying wood oil to any areas you cut or drill during installation to maintain the timber's protection against moisture. For a high-quality, professional finish, you can also apply a high-quality wood stain or paint once the timber has fully weathered.

When installing gate posts, you must allow for the width of the gate plus the clearance for hinges and the latch. Leave a total gap approximately 10-20mm wider than the gate itself. This prevents the timber from binding against the posts if the wood expands during wet weather.

For maximum security and a clean finish, the flat side (face boards) should face outwards. The internal framework (ledges and braces) should face inwards towards the property. This prevents intruders from using the horizontal ledges as a ladder to climb over the gate.
